Registered Nurse New

Insight Global is looking for a Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team at a Rehabilitation Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. This candidate will work with patients needing inpatient rehab with a minimum requirement of 3-4 hours of therapy per day. The patient’s conditions can span from brain injuries, spinal cord, stroke and neuro, amputees, cardiac and cancer. Duties include full head to toe assessments of patients, medication pass, wound care, mobility exercises, documentation. They nurse will be responsible for 7-8 patients at a time.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

-This is an inpatient rehabilitation center. Patient populations could include anything from brain injury, spinal injury, amputees, any physical injuries or related.

-Group therapy is with this team and individual care.

-Administration of medications, charting, blood draws, IV lines and related will be included functions of this RN.

Shift: 6PM - 6AM, 3x12s

-Shift will be planned 2-3 weeks in advance.

-Candidates will have flexibility to pick days of work unless patient volumes require specific days.

-Every third week this person will have a requirement to work on a Friday and Saturday.

Duration: 12 weeks, likely extensions

Hourly Rate: Up to $48.00

Required Skills and Experience:

-BLS Through American Heart

-2 years of either Med Surg, Acute Care

-KY or Compact RN License

-Cerner experience (Does not need to be in-depth, needs to have basics - charting, etc.)
